Hello sweeties! My name is Jenny. I have a super common combination skin, when my skin either dry or oily, taking care of it is a pretty straightforward process. But when my skin come with little bit of both, things start to get complicated. Hydrating creams are too hydrating, oil-absorbing mask are too absorbing, balancing lotions never seem to do much balancing. And that’s bad news for a lot of people. I’m facing the problems of the “T” zone, most likely, my cheeks, temples, and other areas will feel dry and tight, while my nose, chin, and forehead will look oily and shiny or perhaps I have a clogged pores. Proceeding to my skincare routine, I’m absolutely agree that a suitable skincare routine is the crucial step to keep you a proper skin. Our skincare routine needs to be regularly updated, as we age, our skin needs will change. I would like to share with all of you my daily skin care routine. 1. Innisfree Green Tea Cleansing 2. Innisfree Green Tea Balancing Skin 3. Innisfree Green Tea Balancing Lotion 4. SUNPLAY Skin Aqua UV Watery Essence 5. Nature Republic Soothing & Moisture Aloe Vera Gel In the morning, I usually will wash my entire face with the cleansing. Like any others cleansing, Innisfree Green Tea Cleansing have nothing to surprise me, however I like their texture and the smell is lovely. If I have sufficient time, I will apply the Aloe Vera Gel for 15 to 20 minutes. After 20 minutes, I will wash off the gel from my skin. Not forget to mention, I’m the super huge fan of this Aloe Vera Gel as I had been keep using it for 4 years. This product not only boost the hydration on my skin, at the same time they help soothing and moisturizing my tired looking skin. Moreover, the most surprising part for me is this gel are super cheap and only costs me for RM20++ per one. I’m highly recommended this aloe vera gel from Natural Republic. My skincare routine continuous with the applies of Innisfree Green Tea Balancing Skin and Innisfree Green Tea Balancing Lotion. Lastly end up with SUNPLAY Skin Aqua UV Watery Essence during the day time. While during the night, I am repeating my steps during daytime but I do not include the Watery Essence in the night. This is the best combination for me, day & night!!! Hope my sharing helps you in some way! Cheers to good skin, awesome health, and a long, love-filled life!

The right effort is needed to glow

Hi Im Catherine ! I have combination to oily skin. Previously , I had alot of persistent breakouts around my forehead, cheeks and chin. Also scars from previous facial treatments. So to heal it all up, my journey towards a clearer and brighter skin consists of finding active and/or natural ingredients that efficiently does it job without potentially harming my skin. N Note: in this picture I'm just using concealer under lids. Brows+lips But first and foremost - which is the most important!- CLEANSING ! I use the Lumispa to deep cleanse my pores. What's special about it is the silver covered silicone head which is anti bacterial. The break out on your cheeks are likely caused by bacteria from pillow, brush, dirty air etc. So cleansing is really important. Once or twice a week I would use COSRX's Salicylic acid cleanser, which chemically exfoliates your skin. And has ingredients that clears white head (bHA) Secondly, I'm too lazy to use toner . If I do, I would use Thayer's witch hazel rose water . but honestly it doesn't do much for me. Third , I would use an acne treatment from Epoch which contains 2% Salicylic acid and Forth, my secret weapon is HUXLEY'S Secret of Sahara; brightly ever after essence with prickly pear seed oil . Which contains niacinamide and patented Odeetox for brightening and antioxidant properties. Fifth , is moisturizer. I have 2 go-to moisturizer. Nuskin's NaPCA moisturizer in the morning. It contains Vitamin E & natural Humectants NaPca which absorbs quickly and supplements skin's own moisture binding capacity. And Innisfree's Orchid moisturizer for at night . When I'm feeling down and unhappy, I just pop an extra face mask from Innisfree . And when I'm skin is extra sensitive because of hormonal imbalance, I lather on Nuskin's Clay Mask to make sure the extra sebum and dead skin doesn't clog my pores!

hello Lovelies, i used to be a girl that doesnt care about Skincare, thinking its just a waste of money, because i never had much issues growing up. Growing up is always about eating delicious food, going for tuition and no one ever spoke to me about skincare. Nevertheless, i knew the 3 steps of Cleansing, Toning and Moisturizing way back then. i first purchase the Simple trial set but i wasnt very consistent and dont know much about the world of skincare. i used to be very active in sports and my biggest mistake was never applying sunscreen. i didnt know about UV rays and harms plus i hated the Sunscreen i had back then, which was Banana Boat. it was so sticky and makes my face looks oily and cakey, the bottle of sunscreen would just sit there until it expires. 2 years ago, i spoke to a salesgirl at the Laneige counter, she told me to apply sunscreen everyday. Slowly and surely, i started reading blogs and it becomes an addiction until now. my skin is combination to dry (used to be combination to oily) morning 1)cleanse : Keihls Ultra Facial Cleanser or sometimes i just wash my face with water 2) Tone: Keihls Calendula Toner ( i would recommend this to oily and combination skin) 3) Serum: Uriage Water Serum 4) Oil : a drop of Body Shop Oils of life on my cheeks (i only apply on my Cheeks because my T-zone is oily) 5) Eye Cream: Bioderma Sensibio Eye ( good for age below 25) 6) Sunscreen: Sunplay SPF50+ PA+++ (still looking for cheap sunscreen with UVA+UVB) 7) Lipbalm: Nuxe Reve De Miel Night 1) Cleanse: Eve Lom cleanser /Shu Eumura Skin Purifier (both are my favourites and i love to use muslin cloth to remove the daily impurities 2) Tone: Keihls Calendula Toner/ Hada Labo Arbutin Whitening Lotion 3) Serum: Uriage Water Serum 4) Eye Cream: Keihls Avocado eye cream 5) Moisturize: Madara Total Renewal Night Cream 6)Lipbalm: Nuxe Reve De Miel Weekly 1) exfoliate : Sulwhasoo Clarifying mask (exfoliation depends on skin type, people with oilier skin can exfoliate more) 2) mask: any mask i buy (my beauty diary, sep, N3) few times a week or when my face feels like it needs pamper

Hello beauties! As someone who has dry combination skin I am so keen to achieve dewy skin with healthy glow. My skin used to be so dried and flaky around the mouth area. Meanwhile quite oily on my nose and cheeks. My journey as a skincare lover started last 2 years ago when I was working in one of the well known drugstore company in Malaysia. As a staff I always got so many samples from suppliers and had been offered to attend lots of skincare workshop. From there I started to know Korean 10 Steps Skincare Routine. Since then, I had tried so many products which mostly Korean skincare products to find which products suits my skin the most. Let's jump to the routine. I had modified Korean 10 Steps Skincare Routine to suits my likings. Which not 10 steps anymore (lol). I separate into 2 routines which are Day and Night routine. This is based on my current products that I use. DAY ROUTINE: 1. Facial Cleanser (Cosrx: Low pH Good Morning Gel Cleanser) - low pH cleanser help to soothe, refresh and soften my skin without the stripping feeling. 2. Prep Serum (Innisfree: The Green Tea Seed Serum) - helps to prepare my skin before I apply other product. Also helps to hydrate my skin. I used it right after going out from shower. 3. Toner (Klairs: Supple Preparation Facial Toner) - balance my skin pH level and provide full nourishment to my skin. 4. Essence ( Secret Recipe: Snail Repairing Essence) - moisturizes my dry skin and gives fresh feeling to the oily parts of my skin. I pat my face so the product will easily absorb into my skin. 5. Serum ( Hongik Skin: Baobab Water Storage Eco- Serum) - helps to gives hydration to my skin. I don't use it daily. I used it one time in 2 days. 6. Eye Cream (Milky Dress: Wrinkle and Whitening Eye Cream) - usually I used it at night but if my eyes area feels dry, I will use it on day routine. Remember, dry eyes area leads to wrinkle. I massage my eyes in circular direction. 7. Facial mist (Angel Factory: Salt Mist) - i used this product at times my skin become extremely dry and flaky especially around my mouth area. Since this mist is for irritated and dry skin. 8. Moisturizer (Innisfree: Orchid Enriched Cream) - this is my most favourite moisturizer as it doesn't irritate my skin at all. Even during my skin become So sensitive. It made for combination skin. Orchid Enrich Cream function in managing wrinkle development, control skin elasticity, even out skin tone, nourish my skin and reduce my pore. I used it on my face and neck. Massage it around my skin on the upward direction for face lifting. 9. Sunblock ( Etude House: Sunprise Natural Corrector with Spf 50+/PA+++) - what I love about this sunblock is it works as my primer/foundation. I don't like to put heavy makeup everyday cause it will clogged my pores badly. So a sunblock already good enough for me. I will only use sunblock with spf50+ and above when going out. NIGHT ROUTINE: 1. Lip and Eye Makeup Remover (Innisfree: Apple Seed lip and eye makeup remover) - oil based makeup remover is efficient on removing makeup on lip and eye area. Usually I will wipe my lip and eye thoroughly by using cotton pad to ensure ni products sticks on my face. Especially mascara. 2. Micellar Water ( Garnier: Micellar Cleansing Water) - I used micellar water on my face other Than eye and lip area. It cleans my face well and does not irritate my skin at all. I totally Love it. 3. Facial Cleanser ( B-lab: Natural Cleansing Foam- I am Sorry Just Cleansing) - if you are a Korean skincare enthusiast I bet you ever heard of DOUBLE CLEANSING Which is So popular among Korean. Because no matter how much you clean your face using micellar water/ makeup remover, there is always dirt left on your skin. This is when Cleansing foam is needed. - B-lab Natural Cleansing Foam consist micro bubble foam That cleans away harmful factors to clarify dull and exhausted skin. And it don't really leave a tight feeling on my skin. 4. Prep serum - refer DAY ROUTINE 5. Peeling gel/ scrub ( Onsaemeein: Yogurt Peeling/ Skin Food: Black Sugar Mask wash off) - I used exfoliator twice a week. Since there still So much gunks on my nose area need to be clean. - it depends on my mood which products I want to used. But I Love both of it as it leave my skin smooth and clean after using it. 6. Toner ( Pyunkang Yul: Essence Toner) - this toner gives hydration to my skin leave my skin dewy. 7. Essence - refer DAY ROUTINE 8. Serum ( It's Skin: PO Effector with Houttuyina Cordata Extract) - this product helps in shrinking the pore, reduce the sebum, revitalise my skin and anti- aging. I gently pat and massage my face So this product will fully absorb into my skin. 9. Sheet mask ( various brand) - I Love the sheet Mask so much, so as long as the sheet mask does not irritate my skin, I will use it. - for cheap sheet mask, i suggest Soo Beauté brand from Sasa. For special treatment sheet mask I suggest Skin Reset Peeling mask from Innisfree . And for hyrogel mask I prefer Faith in Face brand. 10. Eye cream - refer DAY ROUTINE - I used eye cream frequently at night as I love to let the eye cream does it work during sleep. 11. Sleeping mask ( The Face Shop: Raspberry Root Sleeping Mask) - sleeping mask helps to repair my skin during sleep. Which will leave my skin healthy the next day I wake up. My MOST RECOMMENDED products are: 1. Innisfree Orchid Enriched Cream 2. Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water I am still hunting for the best products till now and still loving doing it. I am so in love with my new found hobby and I am so glad to share it with everyone. My skin getting better and healthier day by day. Even still not perfectly flawless but I am satisfied with it. I believe skincare is better than makeup . Since skincare heal your skin permanently while makeup only covers your flaws temporarily. Don't misunderstand me, I still love makeup but I love skincare more. Finally, please drink lots of water everyday and love yourself eternally. *All these steps are from my personal experience and my knowledge. I am still learning on taking care of my skin. Thank you. Love, Zuraidah Arshad

Oh, just smile.

Hey, girls!! So I have oily combination skin and after hitting puberty it got even more oily!! Sad, right? Well, of course I had to live with oily skin and acne that comes like the annoying relatives that just come and go.. but don’t leave forever.. lmao sorry don’t get offended!! Sorry, let’s cut to the topic. I used real aloe Vera gel to calm down my skin and make it more fresh and remove the redness and sometimes even takes away baby acne. Rice water for unclogging my pores, it worked for me but I’m not sure it’ll work for you!! -this was my best part(So cheap!!) I used rose water to refresh my skin(try making it yourself) (FRESH AND ORGANIC ROSES, please) Deep cleanse your skin with aztec healing clay with apple cider vinegar and honey. It’ll help your acne scars and leave your skin nourished. You can add rose water to it too. Aside from that, I use turmeric face mask!! I SWEAR BY IT. Makes your skin better, it just does. Turmeric, honey, gram flour, yoghurt, milk, sandalwood powder and lemon juice (oily skin-low-fat milk) You can put it all over your body. Works with all skin types but before trying to a test patch and check it out!! Try my skincare routine and fixes to a few problems and let me know if it helped!! 💝💝

Hey gurlies 💕 my skin care routine is pretty simple and works really well. For face wash I use the facial gel from Simple. I wash my face in the morning and at night and also when I come home from outside. Too much rinsing makes your skin a little dry so make sure to use moisturiser. I personally love the ultra facial moisturiser from khiels. For Toner I use the thayers witch hazel. Also at night I use khiels midnight recovery concentrate. I also love to use Innisfree orchid eye cream. For masks I use Aztec clay once a week and avocado mask from Sephora. I hope this helps anyone with skin issues. 🙆🏻‍♀️❤️
